Advancing the knowledge of planning and environmental laws.

Who We Are

We exist to advance the knowledge of planning and environmental laws among the professions and the community generally.

EPLA provides members with current information about recent or proposed changes to planning and environmental law. EPLA hosts seminars and conferences to provide opportunities for informed debate and education about relevant issues.

Our Members

EPLA is an organisation whose members are drawn from many environmental disciplines including from the fields of planning, environment, architecture, local government and the legal profession.

Our members are drawn from city and country regions, in government and private enterprise. During this time of significant change to environmental and planning laws in NSW, EPLA helps members to stay up to date through on-line releases of latest news, the publication of the Environmental Law News and the publication of the Environmental Law Reporter.
