Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law Annual Conference

The ACCEL Annual Conference addresses the effectiveness of Federal engagement in meeting a range of environmental challenges. The conference takes place at a time when the Commonwealth's key legislation - the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 - is being reviewed for the first time since its commencement.

The conference commences on the evening of 27 October with a cocktail reception and the keynote address, held at the New Law Building at the University of Sydney. The evening will be followed by a full day program on 28 October to be held at the Portside Centre.

Day 1 – Keynote Address and Cocktail Reception: 6.00 – 7.30pm, Tuesday 27 October

Venue: Sydney Law School, New Law Building (located next to the Fisher Library on the Camperdown Campus), Eastern Avenue, The University of Sydney - Registration and cocktail reception from 5.30pm

Day 2: 9.00am – 5.00pm, Wednesday 28 October

Venue: The Portside Centre Sydney, Level 5 Symantec House, 207 Kent Street, Sydney - registration from 8.30am
